Switzerland: Four Languages, a Million Experiences

Switzerland has everything a traveler could want in terms of terrain, climate and culture. From spectacular Alpine regions, to the palm trees of Lugano on the Swiss/Italian border, this small country of four official languages (French, Italian, German and Romansh) is a one-of-a-kind global experience. Nothing allows your clients to capitalize on all Switzerland has to offer more than having a Swiss Travel Pass. And its benefits don’t stop with the train. The Swiss Pass includes travel on the entire Swiss Travel System, from buses and boats, to allowing travel between the Alps, St. Moritz or any part of Switzerland with ease.

Passes for One and All

For a country the size of Switzerland, there are a whole lot of places to go. Swiss Passes cover many of them and the audiences they serve. Of course, family-friendly Switzerland has a particularly sweet deal for kids; free travel if they’re under the age of 16 when traveling with a parent or guardian. However, it’s easy for just about anybody to find a perfect discount:

    • Swiss Family Card (FREE): This card allows children under 16 to travel free within the Swiss Travel System. Card must be requested at time of pass purchase.
    • Youthpass in 1st and 2nd class for travelers under 26

A Swiss Travel Pass isn’t just budget-stretching; it’s often discounts on top of discounts. Here are some of the biggest benefits:

    • Unlimited travel on selected private railways
    • Unlimited travel on lake steamers
    • Free access to over 500 museums in Switzerland
    • Unlimited travel on over 90 major city transportation systems
    • Unlimited travel on all postal and most private bus lines
    • 50% discounts on many mountain top excursions (Jungfraujoch 25%)
